The Salvation Army march into Braintree
The Salvation Army has exchanged contracts to acquire the former Bathstore on Anglia Way, Braintree. The unit, extending to 3,629 sq.ft, will shortly become a new Donation Centre.

Norbury Sansom advises Poundstretcher on CVA
Retail property advisor, Norbury Sansom, has helped Poundstretcher, working alongside KPMG, to achieve success in their recent CVA by providing property guidance to interested parties prior to the voting period. This resulted in the CVA being voted through at a level of circa 92%. The business should now be on a much better footing for the future.
Furthermore, Norbury Sansom have been further asked to agree a number of post CVA deals on stores in which Poundstretcher would, if the terms are acceptable, like to stay in occupation.

Swindon Co-Op acquired for Pure Gym
Pure Gym have acquired the former Co-Op adjoining Dobbies Garden Centre in North Swindon. The unit, extending to 13,500 sq.ft, is visible from the A419 giving easy access to this part of Swindon and the M4 motorway. The unit will be re-clad and will be completely re-furbished to provide modern space with car parking.

Pure Gym acquire in Hemel Hempstead
Pure Gym have acquired 15,000 sq.ft of space in The Marlowes Shopping Centre in Hemel Hempstead. The gym is at a first floor level with its own entrance externally and car parking for members. Pure Gym took a 15 year lease at a rental of £240,000 per annum.

Poundstretcher surrender in Swansea
Poundstretcher have agreed a surrender of their store at Junction 47 Retail Park in Gorseinon to make way for future development. They have two stores in the area, having taken the former B&Q and this store was surplus to requirements. The store was handed back unconditionally with no dilapidations liability.
