Poundstretcher acquires Store 21 in Bitterne
Poundstretcher have acquired the former Store 21 in Bitterne for their latest new retail outlet. The store sits in a prime position adjacent to Natwest and Poundland. They have taken a new 10 year lease at a commencing rental of £95,000 per annum.

Two new outlets for Pure Gym
Pure Gym has secured two new gyms in Canterbury and Brislington. Both buildings extend to 15,000 sq.ft and will provide the company’s full offer.
Pure Gym is Britain’s biggest gym chain and has recently changed hands following a £600m swoop by the joint owner of Sir Philip Green’s Topshop.
US private equity fund Leonard Green & Partners has snapped up a controlling stake in PureGym from CCMP Capital Advisors.
PureGym, which launched in 2009 and has 950,000 members across 189 sites, is undertaking a further expansion drive across the UK.
The move from Leonard Green & Partners adds the Leeds-based firm to its bumper portfolio of health and fitness businesses including PDC Brands and SoulCycle.

Trison Estates acquires Lidl Freehold in St Austell
Trison Estates have acquired the former Lidl store in St Austell. The stand alone store with it’s own car parking sits on the edge of the town centre. The property will be occupied by Poundstretcher. Norbury Sansom acted on behalf of Trison Estates.

Norbury Sansom, acting on behalf of Raphael Properties, have let the former Linens Direct in Southend on Sea to Ponden Home at a rent of £80,000 pa. This was one of Linens Direct best performing stores and sits in a prime positon adjacent to Marks & Spencer.
Lease re-gear completed in Yate for Boswells
Norbury Sansom have agreed a lease re-gear on behalf of Boswells in Yate Shopping Centre. They occupy a prime pitch in the Square and were keen to secure a long term committment to this profitable location.
